Corona19 Found an applicable antibody.

Researchers in Korea have reported that SARS and MERS antibodies can be used to develop anti-corrosive drugs and vaccines for Corona 19 treatment.
It is expected that this will speed up the development of Corona 19 treatments and vaccines.
 
The Korea Research Institute of Chemical Technology announced on March 4 that the new virus fusion research group predicted that two existing SARS neutralizing antibodies and one MERS neutralizing antibody could bind to the Corona 19 spike protein. Heavy chemicals are antibodies that can bind to viruses and inhibit their activity. Spike proteins are proteins that are used when the corona virus enters cells.
 
To carry out the research urgently, the researchers conducted a predictive study by receiving the structural information file of Corona19 spike protein, which was published in the international biological archive BIORXIV. The CEVI Convergence Research Team confirmed the similarity to SARS virus through genome analysis of Corona 19, and predicted through bioinformatics analysis whether the existing SARS and MERS neutralizing agents could bind to Corona 19.
 
As a result, we predicted that two existing SARS neutralizing agents and one MERS antibody could bind to the Corona 19 spike protein. These findings are expected to help accelerate the development of corona19 therapeutic antibodies and vaccines.
 
Currently, major research results related to Corona19 are first published in BIORXIV and published in scientific journals.
Meanwhile,atotalofeightgovernment funded research institutes, including the Korea Research Institute of Chemical Technology, are conducting research on the development of new virus diagnosis, vaccines, treatments, and prevention of diffusion technologies. The CEVI Convergence Research Group acquired Corona 19 virus isolates from the Korea Center for Disease Control and Prevention on February 17 to obtain Corona 19 virus RNA through rapid cultivation at the Korea Institute of Chemical Technology, Biosafety Level 3 facility.
